About Me

Hello and Welcome,

Thank you for reaching out for help and support. You have already taken the first step to feeling better by engaging in the therapeutic counseling process. Many times, meeting with a therapist or being in counseling for the first time can be stressful. I hope to put you at ease if this is the case. I provide a safe, caring, non-judgmental space to process your concerns and move forward in a positive direction. If you have been in therapy before, welcome back. Building trust in a therapeutic relationship is the highest priority for me. I feel honored and humbled when clients let me into their world.

In the counseling relationship you will find you do not have to be alone in your struggles. You deserve the very best that life has to offer and you are certainly able to attain a happy, healthy sense of well-being. Everything you need to increase your awareness and reach a healing state is already within you. I believe that you are the expert of you.

I graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Social Work. Throughout my 20 years of experience, one of my areas of expertise has been Christian Counseling. I am a Stephen Minister and feel very comfortable praying with clients and discussing their religious and spiritual needs. I provide individual, couple, and family therapy. I have an eclectic approach that integrates Imago and Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy.
My expertise includes:

Speaking with Beverly has been enormously helpful to me. I signed up with FaithfulCounseling because I knew I needed to process some things and I wanted someone with a strong faith background that I could trust to guide me in the right direction. We’ve talked about the things that have been stressing me out and causing difficulties in my life and Beverly even helped me process some things that had been so ingrained in my life that I didn’t realize they were root issues. Talking about these things made me think to and of myself more kindly which has helped me process things in a healthier way. I’m feeling more confident about dealing with life difficulties because of my time speaking with Beverly.

I absolutely love Beverly. She is kind, intelligent, compassionate and offers information that can be put into practice for positive change. I would recommend her to anyone and respect and like her and she has improved my life so much. I am thrilled that I met her and Thank God for her and for her help.
