Brian Edwards

(MA, LCSW)

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) located in Tennessee with more than 25 years of experience working in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, as well as pastoral care and counseling to young people and their families in an educational setting. I have vast experience working with clients who have depression, anxiety, relationship problems, difficulty in parenting, couples therapy, as well as faith-based issues.

I strive to be warm and interactive as a counselor. I treat my clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach is client-centered, but I draw upon an eclectic array of tools to assist clients reach the healthy goals they set for themselves. If the client is open to exploring faith-based issues, then even more effective work can be done holistically to assist clients in finding more satisfaction in life. I hold a Masters degree in both Social Work and Theology and have served as a deacon for 20 years. I have assisted couples in Christian marriage preparation, provided ministerial support in times of loss, and provided pastoral counseling to those who desire a deeper relationship with God.

It takes a lot of courage to seek change, but in doing so you will discover a more fulfilling and joyful life. If you are ready to take that step, then I am here to assist you.

I look forward to working with you!
