Life can be difficult at times and I'm glad that you're taking the first step and reaching out for help. I'm Brooke and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a double BS degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice (Forensic Investigations), an MS degree in Psychology, and have completed extensive graduate work in Criminal Justice and Community Agency Counseling.
I've been in this field since 2003 and have worked in various settings with most all ages and backgrounds. I have experience working in an inpatient hospital, a day treatment program, a school system, a drug treatment facility, an outpatient clinic, a private practice, and with the Department of Human Resources. I use eclectic therapy, which is an approach that incorporates a variety of principles and philosophies in order to create the ideal treatment to meet your specific needs.
I am nonjudgmental, supportive, and interactive. I try to personalize the therapeutic experience in order to best address and respond to your needs. I don't discuss my faith in counseling, but if yours is something that's important to you and that you use as a coping skill, I am more than happy to discuss it with you. I want to understand your past and help you cope with the present so you can have a happy and fulfilling future. I look forward to working with you :)

When I first entered into counseling I knew I needed help, but was reserved at the same time. Brooke made this super easy and non-stress inducing. She completely listened to me and helped me to gain successful techniques to help in future situations. I would highly recommend her and would work with her anytime I needed counseling!!
She has a lot to say in regards to strategies so it helps me know I have other things I can do instead of feeling stuck in how I feel about situations. She also shows empathy after I share something I am going through that is tough.
Brooke is caring and understanding. My life has been crazy lately and she continues to reach out to me to be sure I am okay.
Brooke is a great listener and has the ability to discern things about individuals that were not expressed. She offers advice that prompts you to think deeply in a constructive yet forward thinking way, allowing room for self accountability and real growth.
Her genuine care, experience, knowledge and resources have truly helped me become a better person. As a Christian individual, I came into counseling with some reservation leaning toward this experience potentially being another session of roundabout discussion. However, I kept an open mind and I am glad that I did.
I highly recommend Brooke. Thank you for doing what you do. God Bless you!
Brooke has been great! Responds quickly, very understanding! Seems to know what I need to hear and really listens to my deepest concerns.
Brooke Bowen has been kind and understanding and encouraging. She believes in me and tries to teach me ways to cope with my problems and learn how to live my life to the fullest. I'm so glad she is my counselor!
Brooke keeps in close touch. She remembers what we have discussed which means a lot to me. She offers information that is helpful to my needs.
Brooke has been very supportive from day one. She is very thoughtful and compassionate. I had a good experience with her in every session.
Brooke is very caring and attentive. From our first chat she made me feel comfortable enough to share and that is huge for me. I’ve never had a counselor to speak to before.
