Hi, my name is Cathy and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with almost 30 years experience in a variety of clinical and community settings, and have also been active in Christian ministry for over 25 years. I' ve served a wide variety of churches, denominations, and Christian organizations, bringing a broad understanding of relationships within the church and the blessings and challenges that come with them. My approach to Christian Counseling integrates solidly Biblical principles with a practical skills-based cognitive approach to help individuals “take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ” (2 Cor. 10: 5). I also try to bring the best of the my clinical and scientific knowledge about the miracle of God's creation, and years of experience working with imperfect people who struggle not just with spiritual issues, but with real physical, emotional, and even medical concerns that affect how you think and cope with difficult emotions. I believe it's important to be real, to meet you where you are, and acknowledge that we in the church will never be perfect, but in the process of being transformed. There is no pain too deep for God to heal, no secret so dark that the light of Christ can't touch it, and no problem so complicated that the Holy Spirit can't reveal a path through it.
So no matter what your church background or faith experience, I am honored to have the privilege of getting to know you, and walking through this process together.
Looking forward to working with you, sincerely in Christ,

Cathy made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was insightful as to the core issues and able to help me understand how to approach a difficult situation in a way that provided a mindset shift and the change I craved.
Cathy is amazing! She listens, affirms, and explains. She's also very relatable, which it makes it easy to be vulnerable with her. I appreciate her time and effort.
Catherine is very insightful. She has helped me tremendously.
