My name is Chalene Gardenhire and I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Memphis State University in 1994. In December 2008, I obtained a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia and earned a unrestricted professional license in 2016 becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 15 years of mental health experience and specialize in relationship challenges, women’s issues, young adult transitions and grief and loss.
As a therapist, I provide individual and group counseling and facilitate grief and loss support groups. I practice the Family Preservation Model as it relates to your emotional and behavioral difficulties while providing quality service, compassion and education to every individual I encounter. I meet you where you are emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. I am open to understanding and appreciating your spiritual journey and will assist with what’s necessary in finding your inner peace. I promote spiritual healthiness through Meditation, listening to uplifting music, spending time with nature, maintaining physical healthiness, purging negative energy, and following your instincts.
I embrace the concept of “meeting my clients where they are” to supply each of you with the tools you need to cope with the trials of life.

This was an awesome experience with a wonderful counselor! It really changed my life and saved my marriage. I’m thankful that I found Chalene.
Chalene has been a great counselor. She provides clear and effective feedback and action steps between each session. She follows up between sessions and is available for messaging when needed. I'm happy I am working with Chalene.
