About Me

Hi, my name is Chris and I am passionate about helping people find peace and clarity.

I've spent my years as a counselor working with a wide variety of people ranging from elementary aged children, up to retirement aged adults (and everyone in between!) I have been able to help people find peace and clarity for themselves through all sorts of struggles including depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, career challenges, and parenting concerns. I have also helped many people who have experienced sexual, physical, and emotional abuse find peace with their past.

I am able to bring faith-based interventions and techniques to the table for clients who hold to a Christian faith and desire to incorporate that into their counseling. I know that faith is both very personal but also very powerful. With that in mind I am happy to utilize spiritual practices and the scriptures to enhance the counseling experience at any pace or level a client desires.

My counseling style is relaxed, as I want you to feel comfortable as we look for peace and clarity together. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and compassion no matter what sort of troubles they may be working through. My hope is that no matter what has brought you here, that we would be able to find some peace and clarity together.

He listens to me, pin points my issue and causes of my actions.

Chris is a great counselor. Opening up and being vulnerable can be uncomfortable at times, but Chris is very patient, kind, and comforting. He’s never intruding and he brings a fresh perspective that challenges me to reflect on myself and grow.

I’ve just started working with Chris. So far he has been very attentive. If I don’t reach out in a couple of days he reaches out to me.

Chris, is personable, yet straightforward when it comes to what I need to hear. He speaks the truth in Love.

I fully trust him with my issues and understands what my personality is like and shoots through the uncertain descriptions I am uncertain how to correctly describe. He gets me to my own point and then steadies the track.

Chris's prayer dynamic is steady, and encourages me with Scripture that is pertinent to my issues.

I am grateful to him, as a conduit from the Lord.

In the few days I’ve spent talking with Chris, he has given me renewed hope that I can overcome my weakness and come out on the other end a stronger Christian man. I feel that God sent Faithful Counseling and Chris to me at the right moment. With Chris as my counselor, I feel I can conquer my problems with God on my side. Thank you Chris for all that you’ve done for me so far and I look forward to seeing what else can come of working with you. :)

Still very early on, but very helpful thus far with rethinking the main issues that I'm struggling with. Looking forward to walking through the process of "recovery" with Chris' help.

I like how he read and tried to understand all my long emails ranting about my life. I felt better after knowing someone is understanding me and giving me a hand.

Chris is very perceptive and respectful, which is a great balance. He picks up on important details, but he's so respectful in the process that it doesn't feel invasive at all. I've really enjoyed our discussions, and he is definitely making me aware of trends in my life that I haven't been able to go about identifying and fixing so far.
