As a Christian, I follow the basic teachings of the Bible. I have been able to integrate the teachings of psychology and the Bible by integrating areas where there is agreement.
The first premise is to look for the best solution to resolve client issues based on past attempts by the client. I used Client-Centered Therapy as a tool to give the client basically acceptance and support. This will allow him or her the resources for self-understanding, for altering his or her self-concept, attitudes, and self-directed behavior.
Faith is the backbone of Christianity. Every day we can experience doubts about our faith. I believe I can be helpful as a therapist by helping clients work on unresolved issues to come up with workable solutions utilizing the Bible and my training in Psychology.

Two weeks in, we're still getting to know each other and sort out my mountain of issues. There have been some that David has picked up on that I didn't mention directly. He's very friendly and responds quickly. Does the man sleep?! I'm enjoying the help he's giving me, but understand this process could take awhile. Changing oneself doesn't happen overnight. I'm glad he's someone helping guide me through this process.
David is very compassionate and loves to make everybody's day brighter.
Since this is just our second session, so far I am know this is the best thing I did to seek wholeness in talking to David, because of my faith in God in this time in my life
David is a good listener, understanding and give wonderful advise/Food for thought.
