Welcome, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Elise Von Tersch and I have over a decade of experience working in the counseling field. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specialize in individual counseling treating trauma and addiction. I am a Christian and understand the relational benefits of working with someone with the same beliefs. I found it helpful to integrate clients faith into the counseling session as it integrates the whole clients self in the therapeutic process. I have experience with relationships, grief, anger management, finding oneself, domestic violence, depression, and anxiety. I have an integrative and multi-faceted approach to therapy. I am currently finishing up my doctorate in Health Psychology and have extensive research knowledge in how mental health can affect the immune system. I am non-judgmental and provide a safe empathetic space for those who seek help with life's challenges.

Elise is really incredible. She is always there for me.
I have to give it to Elise. She's awesome. She's kind, thoughtful, understanding, genuinely caring and so much more. She's helped me more in a few weeks than other therapists have helped me in months. You can tell she knows what she's talking about and truly is great at what she does. I wouldn't hesitate to choose her any day of the week and twice on Sundays. She always seems to have the answers to my issues. She makes me feel like I have a friend more than a therapist. Thanks Elise!
Elise was absolutely amazing. She helped me through my issues by breaking down what the real cause of my fears were. She answered all messages promptly and offered phone calls as an easier way to communicate. She made me feel comfortable talking to her, and confident again in making the right decisions. I’m forever thankful for her!
