About Me

Hello and welcome to my profile page. My name is Gary Gilles and I appreciate you taking a few minutes to explore how I might be of help to you.

Even though I don’t yet know you, I can make one certain assumption: you want to change your life in some important way. If that is true, then there is no better time than now to start that change process. Every day you either make progress toward the life you desire or you drift further away from it. Progress is empowering. But lasting change doesn't happen by chance. It requires a fresh start and a new approach to changing old habits. The first question you must answer is, "How do I want my life to be different?

If the answer to that question was easy, you would have already figured it out. Sometimes you need the help of an experienced guide to walk you out of the wilderness and onto a path that leads to a better life.

That’s where I can help. As a licensed, committed Christian counselor I have walked alongside thousands of people, like yourself, in my private practice for more than 20 years guiding them to better manage their anxiety, depression and relationship challenges. And I could do the same for you.

What type of change are you seeking? Do you want to improve your marriage, heal from a divorce or reconnect with your children? Do you want to learn to overcome anxiety or depression, break addictive behaviors, take better care of yourself and live consistently within your values and faith? Would greater self-confidence help your relationships?

My approach starts with listening carefully to your story and especially the parts that pertain to the issues you need help with. Then, I work with you to clarify an approach to those areas of concern and develop actionable goals around each area so you can begin to see progress right away. Some of these goals may be short-term while others may be long-term. Either way, I’ll walk through each step with you to help ensure your growth. And my commitment to you is that I will always be working from a biblical worldview regardless of the issues we are discussing. I strive to integrate your healing and change process with biblical principles.

Positive change starts with the courageous step of admitting you need help. If you want to explore how I might be able to help you, send me a message or pose a question and I’ll be happy to talk with you. This first step could be the beginning of lasting change.

Still early in my therapy but I’m very encouraged with how it’s going.

Gary has been such a blessing and an encouragement to me. He helped me get through a stressful time and make tough decisions for my life. He opened my eyes to things in my past that were holding me back. He helped me make some big breakthroughs. I really appreciated how responsive he was and always looked forward to our video chat sessions. It was my first time doing online counseling and I was surprised at how comfortable and easy it was.
