As a Christian Minister I completed my Master degree in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2001, at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I have been providing Pastoral Counseling since 1986, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2005. I am also a Doctor of Ministry candidate in Pastoral Counseling ABD (all but dissertation). I have provided Christian Counseling to people of all ages and issues in a wide variety of treatment facilities to include community Church based services as well as Hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.
I have training in families and couples, parenting issues, self-esteem, grief and loss, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety disorders, and ADHD. My two greatest interests are the trauma that comes from a loss in our lives and helping couples work through a crisis in their relationship. The approaches I generally use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems models and Person Centered which fits my personality of truly caring for the good of my Clients. My Counseling will reflect my values, and at the same time honor your beliefs and spiritual direction.

It was a true pleasure being to work with pastor Gary for these four months. He taught and guided me through a lot of different things and concerns. Truly a great guy.
