Welcome to Faithful Counseling!
My name is Giovanna Agostinelli. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have experience in working in many different settings with all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds. I have worked closely with individuals and families who varied in their presenting problems, such as trauma/abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, family-related issues, sexuality/gender identification, relationships, codependency, need for parenting skills, and more. I provide great attention to remaining multiculturally sensitive, as well as unbiased in all areas. I work with various modalities, but tend to utilize CBT, trauma-informed modalities (CPT, TF-CBT), Mindfulness-based techniques, Nurturing Parenting techniques, and Narrative therapy techniques. I offer messaging, phone sessions, live chat, and video sessions. I do offer chat only sessions on the weekends on occasions where I will need to accommodate.
I have experience in faith-based counseling and have had the honor to work with many individuals and families who were either growing in their faith or were very knowledgeable in their theology. Regardless of where you are on your walk, counseling is a great way to work on your mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
