I am licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have a doctorate degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling, Master of Divinity and Master of Religious Education. I have been working as Pastoral Counselor, Bible Professor, Chaplain, Therapist, Family Therapist and Counselor for more than 30 years in Palestine/Israel, Ecuador and USA. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic and I have profound experience and sensitivity to cross cultural relationship family and Church relationships. My Christian faith was my motor and compass in all my life. My faith in Jesus and His Example as loving and caring pastor allowed me to travel all over the world and meet, disciple and coach thousands of individuals families, Churches and allowed me to demonstrate Jesus’ love and desire for us to have abundant and joyful life. As pastoral counselor, my focus was on individuals, families, Churches and relationships as a unit- a Body of Christ. My studies in Pastoral Counseling and experience in systemic therapy, psychology and spirituality has given me the advantage of helping the whole person Body, Mind and Spirit and his/her relationships and allowed me to minister and coach hundreds of families and allowed them to get the desired results. My approach to life, relationships and to therapy, pastoral counseling is the same. It is a journey. We need to enjoy it and make the best out of it by putting our God’s purpose first in our life and finding complete resolutions to our baggage that we brought with us from life experiences as well as from our family of origin and past generations. Thus, in an easy but precise language and steps I will help you, your partner and family explore your potential and God’s purpose for your life and your personal potential of reaching abundant and joyful life and how to get desired results and outcomes. I will use Jesus’ pastoral example of love and care for His chosen and through using active listening skills as a model for you to be conscious of your growing edges as well as your strengths and build on them to get what you want and achieve God’s purpose for you at the same time.
For me demonstrating unconditional love, value and acceptance as- Jesus did- to myself and to you will allow us to be conscious to our own connection and will transform both of us, you and I and will bring redemption to future generations through Jesus Christ. I believe all of us have potential to be leaders as well serving others, be healthy and well in addition to be authentic human beings, but we need to let go of all what is weakening us and we need to strengthen what brings to us ease, victory, enjoyment and glory and follow Jesus’ example of Resurrection.
I focus on your presence as a person-as image of God and I will use the Bible and Christian Faith as Guide for me and for you, and I will share with you the most up to date techniques, interventions and methods that will help you feel whole, stable and integrated, satisfied and that will allow you to live your life in fulfillment in body, mind and Spirit as well as your relationships, finances, career, family, sexuality, health, internal fitness as well as your life purpose and God’s purpose for you. I have done counseling many times over the past 20 years and Dr. Jaraysa has been the most helpful!! He is extremely smart and good at his field. He is also a wonderful man of God. We always think of something to talk about even on days when I don’t know what to ask for help with.
I highly recommend him!
This has been an awesome experience so far. Exactly what I was looking for.
