As a child, I developed a strong relationship with God and Jesus. I have maintained that relationship to this day. I was a youth leader on multiple occasions over the years. My faith is of the nondenominational variety, with emphasis on spiritual healing, spiritual warfare, breaking generational curses, and relying on the teachings of the Bible to break free from strongholds on Earth today. I have explored a variety of churches over the years (7th Day Adventist, Catholic, Mormorn, Baptist...) and feel that I can be respectful of differing beliefs in a therapeutic setting in order to assist my clients.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona. While obtaining my clinical hours, I worked in a variety of settings in order to gain the most experience and to determine the area that best fits my personality and ability. I spent a year working in a Substance Abuse Detox facility with a Level 1 psych facility (treating dual diagnoses). From there, I spent a year at the State Prison working with inmates with a variety of diagnoses and concerns; from substance use, to depression and anxiety, to destructive behavior. For the past 2 years, I have been working within the Native American Community to assist with issues such as: parenting, ADHD, sexual abuse, other trauma, historical trauma, cutting, peer pressure, oppositional defiance and many others.
As a clinician, I prefer to work alongside my clients on the journey to better outcomes. I have certifications in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectic Behavior Therapy, plus trauma training. I like to have a variety of knowledge available, but my ultimate goal is to meet my client's where they are and not have every session carved out to be inflexible. I allow my clients to express their thoughts as I guide them with questions and exploration to the answer that they already had inside, or help them think outside the box and explore possible solutions or new view points. My clients will find the environment to be relaxed and welcoming because it will be free of judgment and labeling.

We have just started but I think we are making progress.
I feel like my counselor Ina Blue is very helpful with her ideas and scenarios she gives in helping me understand and better respond to my situations that I am struggling with she helping me take a more positive look at how I see things that I am looking at in a negative light , she is sympathetic towards me when I let her know I’m digging my heals in to a different way of thinking.
