Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Minnesota. I am proud to be a practicing Christian-Catholic, and truly believe in the power of God and faith as a source of strength in our daily lives. I received my Master of Arts degree in marriage and family therapy from Argosy University, and my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University. I have 6+ years of clinical experience, working in a variety of settings. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples, who are experiencing a variety of concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family concerns, personality disorders, pedophilic/paraphilic disorders, and those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I work from a systemic and relationship-based perspective, utilizing a variety of techniques in order to assist others in identifying meaningful relationships and goals for their lives. I am driven to learn from others and to provide a supportive environment where people can come to uncover or rediscover their strengths and unique contributions to our community, and to develop goals to help assist in making meaningful and lasting change. I do my very best to foster a counseling environment that is warm, interactive, non-judgmental, and is a safe place to share what is truly on one's mind and heart. I believe in treating everyone with respect, honesty, empathy, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I will shape our conversation and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I believe it truly takes courage and bravery to reach out and ask for help when you're struggling, to take steps towards a more happy and fulfilling life, and to take steps towards making meaningful change. If you are ready to take the leap to achieving such goals, I am ready and willing to help, support, and empower you in any way that I can.
I look forward to working with you!

Jennifer is very responsive to my needs. I had many things going on, but she did suggest ways to deal with situations. I did try one specific suggestion and it worked for me, regarding a family issue. Overall, I felt very supported, with her checking in with often during the week. Thank you.
I like her and feel comfortable telling her anything.
She always checks in with me if it's been awhile since i've written, which i really appreciate. She also shares personal stories that relate to me and make me feel like she really does understand what i'm trying to say.
Jennifer Rhein is a great therapist she help me out a lot!
She responds quickly and understands my point of view. She’s been receptive to my needs and has let me take the lead with what I want to share and how I share it. I love having someone unbiased and encouraging - just a message away! After the first few times I messaged I already felt like a weight had been lifted. Motherhood can feel very lonely, and she understands the struggles and has been very supportive.
Jennifer is so great! She checks in with me every few days if she hasn't heard from me. She always responds promptly. She is kind, understanding and relatable. I appreciate the advice and suggestions she provides. It is so comforting to know that I can message her any time- I don't have to wait until our next scheduled session (like all of my previos, in person therapists). Online counseling had truly been a blessing for me. I've been able to connect with Jennifer on a deeper level than any previous therapist. I know she really listens to me and cares about my well being, and that is a rare bond to find.
