John Deyo, LMFT
About me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over 11 years of experience working as a Counselor and psychotherapist. I have helped folks work through relationship dysfunction and loss, depression, anxiety, anger management, parenting challenges, and people who have experienced trauma or abuse.
My counseling style is non-judgmental, interactive, and practical. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I view human emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs through the lens of Attachment Theory and draw from other approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy in formulating a realistic and practical treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and unique personality.
I appreciate that it takes humility and courage to ask for help. This is the day to change your future and develop a deeper enjoyment of love and life! I help COUPLES and INDIVIDUALS recover freedom and joy. I would love to connect with you and see if we are a good fit to work together.
Blessings!

I was apprehensive about online counseling and how much it would really help...then I got matched with John! Every session is truly like catching up with a friend. He’s understanding and nonjudgmental. I’ve been talking to him for three months now and from the very beginning it was easy to openly share things with him; not just one topic either I’m pretty sure we’ve covered every topic from mommy/daddy issues, addiction, personal boundaries and much more. I always leave our sessions feeling reassured and understood. He really is a blessing, would definitely recommend.

I have only had a couple sessions with John but have discovered so much about my disorder. I am starting to communicate better with my husband when I have episodes and finally being able to talk to someone who truly cares and understands helps a lot. I just wish I could do daily sessions with John but I'm thrilled for my mental recovery journey with him. Thanks john for all your help so far and your future help

He is wonderful, compassionate and invested. My first therapist ever, and has dissolved my fear of therapy.
