Lauren did great work with me. Despite only having a few months together, we covered a lot of ground. I was not used to having a counselor who really heard me out. The first 3 or 4 sessions were not really what I was looking for because of this. I expected more immediate feedback. I realized she was taking time to understand me before commenting. Once I started to ask more point blank questions, she was full of good answers. If you are someone who has specific questions to problems you have, she can help. If you are someone who needs a listening ear, she can also help. She cares and she does her best to get back to you quickly. She is also more on the casual side. For a therapist, she is closer to a friend than a mentor. (While still remaining professional) If that is what you are looking for, you are in good hands.

Lauren is very compassionate and has a warmth about her that makes her easy to talk to. I can tell that in our sessions she is actually listening and empathizing instead of just waiting for her turn to talk. I always feel better when our session are over. It was hard for me to seek help, but after our first session I wished I had done it sooner. I highly recommend her.
