I am a licensed therapist in the state of Colorado and possess a Master's Degree in clinical mental health counseling from Denver Seminary. I find that I am most sought out by clients who seek to navigate life transitions and spiritual concerns in light of a personal history of trauma. I have extensive experience working with survivors of sexual trauma, as well as individuals struggling with anxiety, spiritual concerns, or difficulty maintaining meaningful relationships.
I am thankful to have received training from Denver Seminary in the ethical integration of psychotherapy and Christianity. While I am a Christian-identified therapist, I never assume that my theology is equal to yours. I look forward to learning more about your Christian faith and how you believe it has impacted your current strengths and struggles. I hope to create a safe space for you where you can experience authentic healing and also draw closer to the kindness of God.
I utilize narrative-based techniques and have received over 100 hours of training at the Allender Center in Seattle so that I can assist clients in having a deeper understanding of themselves and of the Gospel amidst life's very hard. While many of my clients have experienced difficult life circumstances, I find that few of my clients begin the counseling journey because of those circumstances. Instead, people begin counseling because they are experiencing "side effects" of life's difficulties. Perhaps you are having difficulty sleeping or are feeling flooded with anxious thoughts and having difficulty concentrating in the work place. Perhaps your relationships feel more strained and close friends or family members wondering when you will "just calm down." Perhaps you no longer feel like you have control over what you are eating and drinking. I am equipped to process traumatic events with those who seek my help. However, I always begin the therapeutic relationship by seeking to equip each client with tangible coping skills so that daily life can begin to feel more manageable. I also highly value the therapeutic relationship, and believe it is imperative that we seek to establish trust so that we can collaborate regarding the best healing path for you.
I hope that our work together will bring you closer to a place of wholeness, and feel privileged that I get to be a part of this sacred work.

Christian has been attentive and intuitive about my needs in our sessions. I'm grateful for how she's led these early stages of our counseling relationship and for the insights she's reflected back to me when we've talked.
I started using Faithful counseling and then I fell off the bandwagon. Christian was attentive and messaged me to tell me that she was thinking of me, but she didn't demand me to message her or to come back. When I was ready, Christian was there ready to tackle my problems.
It's been so great talking with Christian. She has really been helpful and supportive with everything I've been going through. She really takes the time out to see you and understand your situation.
