She takes the time to offer different views and advice. She listens to me talk, and follows through with our conversation.
She gives me things to think about in between our visits.

Rhonda has been really helpful. She is really positive and supportive of goals. She gets excited when goals are met and is understanding when they aren’t. One of the things I feel like she could improve on is taking blame away - in one instance it was said that it wasn’t my fault, but I clearly had a role to play in the failure. I don’t want to be excused from my part, just like to have help working through them. However, she does help see different sides to things and makes sure to address the ways I’ve tried to accomplish things. She’s a sweet person and I look forward to talking to her each week.

Ms. Rhonda is a great listener which is what I enjoy the most about speaking with her every week. She actually takes time and invests in what you are saying. She gives honest advice without being judgmental. I’ve only been talking with her for three weeks and my approach to certain situations has been different. She also gives creative and constructive suggestions to help you solve your problems. She is great!

While I personally do not consider myself a high risk kind of client, I do still have my issues and concerns, but in the time that we have been working together (which hasn't been very long), I already fee so much better. She listens and offers advice and words of encouragement and she tries her best to get to know me so she can better understand me and my needs. This is a kind of listening ear and understanding that I have been missing in my life for a while. It helps to have someone to talk to, someone in a neutral position who can look at my situations from an outside view to offer the best advice, rather than speaking from a place of bias and that is something I greatly appreciate. Thank you for all your help so far!

Rhonda is extremely intuitive & very practical. I’ve met with many other counselors before, they would give me good advice, but never told me how I could get there. The best I’d get was “just do it, like the Nike ad says.” Rhonda provides practical, step by step instructions on how to get out of depression, and in my case how to take your life back from bipolar disorder. She’s kind, and caring, and you really feel that she’s rooting for you. I’m surprised at how quickly I’ve been able to feel better just by talking to her.
