About Me

My name is Rose Simon. I have ten years of counseling and clinical assessment experience in community mental health settings. I have gained knowledge, skills, and abilities in individual counseling, group counseling, interviewing, observation, and multicultural competency from Intensive Outpatient Programs, Partial Hospitalization Programs, outpatient, and residential treatment care facilities. I have previous work experience in vocational rehabilitation, case management, and administrative support services in state and community mental health capacities.

From a theological perspective, we are taught to form a relationship with our Higher Power in order to build up our most holy faith. I believe that there are levels in the building of faith. My theoretical counseling perspectives are humanistic and existential, which means that I consider strategies for dealing with the issues of life and the human condition as related to spiritual growth and development. I believe that faith is a personal lifestyle.

Rose Simon is an excellent counsellor, she knew her job very well. I feel a lot happier each time, after my session with her. She is just amazing and supportive.
