Hi, My name is Stacey Bohlmann. My secular credentials are as follows: I am licensed in the state of South Dakota as a LPC-MH, (Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health), as a LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor) and as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional). Further, I have an advanced diploma in Biblical Counseling.
Throughout my life, I have turned to my Christian faith for strength, peace and happiness. I have needed to lean on my faith during the times of the “dark night of the soul”. My husband and I have been missionaries on the poorest Indian Reservation in the United States for a time which was truly an honor, serving God and His people in such a powerful way.
I believe that God is always present in our situations and will work and speak powerfully into our lives if we ask. I believe God has gifted each of us with skills and talents to help each other and I thoroughly enjoy waiting and trusting in him while working with His people.
Many people claim to be Christian counselors because of their Christian beliefs yet are unwilling to welcome faith as a component of a person’s therapy. In my style and belief, spirituality is a very important aspect of our life and I am eager to provide people with an opportunity to have “meetings” with God in which they are able to find their healing. I believe God has gifted me with the ability to gain a deeper understanding of situations and he provide guidance as we seek it. I also believe that God sets up “divine appointments” in which people are brought together for a time for a specific purpose.
If you are in search of a counselor who is not afraid to invite God into our time together, I am here when you are ready. I look forward to meeting you.

She is such a great listener and so accommodating to a person's needs. So glad she reaches out and checks in to see if we are ok. I always look forward to her emails and response to my emails.
This is the first time I have been able to balance my counseling with my faith. The practice of both is what makes my daily living better. Stacey listens and understands me. She's making me a better person!
