I’ve been incorporating Christian spirituality into my counseling practice since I began as a counselor, 10+ years ago. My walk with Christ began years before that, in 1990. Since then I have found, that whether inside or outside of counseling, Jesus is an indispensible part of one’s life. As he himself has often been called—the “Wonder Counselor”, he guides all Christians, as they move through life’s journey.
As a Christian counselor, I incorporate Christian counseling into my practice, first, by using standard counseling approaches—cognitive behavioral therapy, relational therapy, and emotionally-focused therapy, to name a few. Then, I weave Christian counseling strategy into these approaches. I believe this is the best way to practice Christian counseling, because while helping clientele to find comfort in our Lord and Savior, and to be guided by him, it is also important to use standard counseling techniques. This is so important, for this reason: Standard counseling techniques are very effective. Similarly, I use Christian counseling strategy, along with standard counseling techniques, for the same reason: it is also very effective! In fact, the two combined, comprise a very potent approach to helping clients deal with mental health and relational issues. So if you are a spiritual person, looking for a Christian solution to your individual or relational problems, I am here for you.

Steve Reinoehl has been amazing! His expertise in counseling is unquestionable. He’s approach to working on each problematic issue has helped my husband and I tremendously and we would not have overcome our issues without his suggestions and techniques. We have been truly blessed by his contribution to our relationship. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is struggling with their family and personal relationships. Sincerely. Mrs. Sieg.
Idk if it's strange to say but I saw Steve as basically my friend -- it was super easy to talk to him. Even talking abt things that are quite serious I always felt like talking to other people felt awkward and p hollow but I feel like talking to Steve made it not too heavy a topic. It's only been a couple of months and as great as it is to feel like I did get better, I was dreading ending my counselling cos it felt as if I wouldnt get to talk to a close friend anymore. 10/10 :))
Steve has been a huge help and support.
I find him very dedicated in helping me find a solution to my problems.
He is a good counselor and I recommend him.
Steve is very kind and attentive
Steve is a great counselor, and I have learned many important lessons from him.
Steve is very helpful in offering expert and Christian advice on my road to recovery!
Steve has been able to give appropriate responses to my comments and support me in deciding how to move forward and how to see myself and my situation. I am eternally grateful for this service and I thank the Lord that he sent Steve to me.
Steve is always very professional. He really listens and thinks about the best possible solution for the issue(s) you are having. He always greets so politely. It is obvious he really cares about his clients. He has been a great help to my husband and I. I highly recommend him.
Steve has been great! He listens to me and I reach out at all hours just to talk and explain what my day was like and he responds in a timely manner. I really appreciate that we have the same faith too!
He's a great counsellor who makes it seem like a casual conversation.
