About Me

Hi there,
My name is Virginia and I am a mental health counselor ion the state of Florida. I have worked in the mental health and social justice field for 7 years. I worked as a youth counselor and as a family therapist. I later on went on to work in the Court system. I currently work as an advocate for domestic violence and sexual battery victims. I have worked with clients who were diagnosed with: depression, ADHD, Conduct disorder, anxiety, and some cooccurring disorders.
My counseling style is empathic, supportive, and goal oriented . I believe that counselors and their clients are a team; and I look forward to being a part of your support team.
I would like to add that I am a Christian and believe in the power of prayer and biblical meditation.

Virginia is very welcoming. Listening in and helping to make sense as you go through thought processes. She gives sound feedback and encourages solutions to issues as well as different ways to look at scenarios. I would recommend partnering with Virginia.
