About Me

If you would like to know, I am a Protestant and Christian by faith but I am very respectful of anyone's personal spiritual beliefs. Part of my career with hospice was to hire and supervise the Chaplains which spiritually serve all people. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, with 26 years of experience working in the medical profession as a counselor. Working many years with hospice and oncology patients and families has been a blessing to me. I specialize in issues seniors can face on a daily basis. I work with a wide range of concerns including grief and loss issues, family conflict, and difficult life transitions. I believe that spiritual pain can be some of the most debilitating pain that there is, and if this applies to you I am willing to walk alongside you to address it. You should discuss depression and fears with a professional. If you are isolated or lonely, I want to listen to what is important to you. Your entire wellbeing can improve with professional guidance. With honest validation and new coping skills that I can teach you, I know you can feel much better. My counseling is to support you, assist you with a fresh perspective, and help you create a life worth living. I look forward to meeting you!

Wendy has been a blessing in that she listens to my issues, concerns, questions and answers them with insight, advice or deeper questions. It's helped me tremendously to see where I'm at in this issue. Thanks Wendy!

Wendy has helped opening up my eyes to see things I couldn't see in caregiving for my mom. Having someone to talk to that has been through these situations with others helped me when I needed it to give me some peace.
