About Me

Thanks for checking out my profile! Let me introduce myself so you can get to know me. First off, I love being a counselor! I love seeing how people can change when they have someone in their corner encouraging them and helping them to see how powerful he or she can be. In my 14 years of counseling in Idaho and Utah since getting my Masters Degree in Psychology, I have been inspired by people from many walks of life who seek to make lasting changes in their life. Many of the good people I have worked with have had difficult experiences in trauma, marital struggles, addiction and other challenges that have made it difficult to move forward in their lives. We have had success using various approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment therapy, solution focused therapy and more. It is about what empowers YOU to be successful. Sometimes, that happens just by letting the strength and competency in you come out through my listening. Whatever works for you, we find it and do it! Your strength (I promise it is there!), coupled with the training and life experience that I can offer you as a husband, a father of 3 boys and someone who believes in the power of human beings can make the difference you seek.
As a man of faith, I find that many struggle with a sense of value in the face of our own humanity. It doesn't take much to create inter turmoil if we find ourselves outside of a moral code we have established. Unfortunately, our human experiences deter us from always achieving the level of spirituality and connectivity that we seek as believers. I work with people to help them see what abundant love is versus a world of scarcity. To know what unconditional acceptance can look like in his or her life when faith is either challenged or depleted due to life. Utilizing the teachings of the bible are critical to offer us a sense of relevance and perspective.

Will is someone who genuinely listens, cares, and doesn’t pigeonhole his clients into his preferred philosophies. I felt my experience very much met me where I was at and left me very equipped to handle situations in my life I had previously felt totally overwhelmed by. I would endorse him for anyone struggling with addiction, especially if they are inclined/conditioned to be a people-pleaser! I am very appreciative of my time with him.
